Postcard: Torre de Belém, Lisboa

Photo taken in June 2017

The Belem Tower is a popular attraction in Lisbon, Portugal. It served as a point of embarkation and disembarkation for Portuguese explorers becoming a symbol of Europe’s Age of Discoveries. Declared as a World Heritage Site in 1983, the tower attracts thousands of tourists. For me, it is a must see in Lisbon.
